Jodine Abbot, Chair

Jody has over 30 years of experience and expertise in healthcare senior management and strategic planning. She has provided administrative leadership for HCA, Ardent Healthcare and most recently served 12 years as the Sr. VP/ Chief Operating Officer for North Kansas City Hospital.

Currently she owns and operates her own consulting business, JA Strategic Healthcare Consultation LLC. She has served on the AHH Board for the past 8 years and currently is the Chair for the AHH Board of Directors. She feels it’s an honor to work with such an amazing organization that provides help, support and guidance to the homeless population.

Sara Kircher, Secretariat

Over the course of her career, Sara Kircher has worked with multiple local and national nonprofit organizations, as well as supporting her church. In partnership with her husband, Sara is proud to have raised two daughters who are outstanding young women (it’s a mother’s prerogative to be biased!). Today, she enjoys participating on a regular basis in the lives of her two terrific grandchildren (again, a grandmother’s prerogative to be biased!). And, she loves supporting the important work of AHH.

Dean Katerndahl, Vice Chair

Before his retirement, Dean Katerndahl worked for the Mid-America Regional Council (MARC) as director of the Government Innovations Forum, collaborating on regional projects with city managers and department heads. Dean was recently elected Mayor of Parkville, Missouri. He has been an AHH Board member since the organization’s inception and is a past chair of the AHH Board.
