Kahana House Driveway Replacement

Rebuild the Road to Recovery at Kahana House
One of our residents recently got his first job after years of homelessness and addiction. The morning of his first shift, he climbed into one of our vans at Kahana House. We drove him to work, just like we drive residents every day to treatment, job interviews, court dates, recovery meetings, and new opportunities.
That ride started in our driveway. Last year our vans drove 245,800 miles supporting residents on their journey forward. Nearly ten times around the earth, many of them beginning and ending at Kahana House. But after years of constant traffic, the driveway is failing. It’s cracked, uneven, and full of potholes.
Our drivers have become artful dodgers just trying to get residents safely on the road. To keep this work going, we need to replace it.
The lowest bid is $75,000.
It may look like a driveway, but to the men rebuilding their lives here, it’s something more. It’s the road that leads back to work, back to dignity, and back to a future. With your help, we can rebuild it.
